BK01 Home School Biology Kit

The BK01 kit is the companion kit for our book, Illustrated
Guide to Home Biology Experiments: All Lab, No Lecture.
Other than a microscope, prepared slides, and live specimens, the BK01
kit includes all of the special equipment and materials you need for
the lab
component of a complete first-year honors high school biology course.
The
BK01 kit also includes a supplemental DVD with the PDF answer guide for
the review questions that appear at the end of each lab session in the
book and high-resolution electronic copies of all of the images used in
the book.

LK01 Home School Biology/Life Science Kit

Other than a microscope, live specimens that can be collected from
any nearby park or pond, and some common household materials, the LK01
kit provides the specialty equipment and materials you need to complete
a full year of experiments and investigations as the laboratory
component of any standard 7th- or 8th-grade life science course.
As
a simplified and less expensive version of the BK01 Biology Kit, the
LK01 kit can also be used with students who will not major in college
in science to provide the lab component of a standard high school
biology course that fulfills the requirements for a high school lab
science credit. The LK01 kit includes the BK01 supplemental DVD, with
the answer guide and high-resolution images that can be used to
minimize the need for expensive prepared slides.
We
designed the LK01 kit around the freely-downloadable CK-12 Life Science
course, but the kit is also well-suited for use with other religious
and secular life science curricula, including those from A Beka,
Apologia, Bob Jones University Press, and many others, as well as with Illustrated Guide to Home Biology Experiments.

The CK01A kit includes all of the special equipment and materials you
need for the lab
component of a complete first-year high school honors chemistry course. The
included PDF manual
provides 39 lab sessions in 14 topic areas, including separating
mixtures, solubility and solutions, chemical reactions and
stoichiometry, reduction-oxidation (redox) reactions, acid-base
chemistry, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, gas chemistry,
thermochemistry, electrochemistry, photochemistry, colloids and
suspensions, analytical chemistry, and synthetic organic chemistry.

Chemistry Kit, designed to provide the special equipment and materials
you need for the lab component of a complete first-year high school
standard chemistry course. The
included PDF manual
provides 31 lab sessions in 13 topic areas, including separating
mixtures, solubility and solutions, chemical reactions and
stoichiometry, reduction-oxidation (redox) reactions, acid-base
chemistry, chemical kinetics, chemical equilibrium, gas chemistry,

Forensic Science Kits
FK01-series kits are the companion kits for our book, Illustrated Guide to Home

FK01A Core Forensic Science Kit
The
FK01A Core Forensic Science Kit ($165) includes specialized
equipment, chemicals, and specimens needed to complete the more than
two dozen lab sessions in the first six groups in the book:

- Group III: Glass and Plastic Analysis

For
many homeschoolers, the lab sessions covered by the FK01A Kit will more
than suffice for a full year's worth of lab work for a high-school
forensic science course. If you need more lab work, we also offer two
supplemental kits, both of which require the materials in the FK01A Kit.
FK01B Forensic Science Kit Supplement 1
The
FK01B Forensic Science Kit Supplement 1 ($51) requires the equipment
and chemicals included in the Core kit. It provides the additional
specialized chemicals and specimens to complete the seven lab
sessions in the following groups:
